La maison se présente comme un monolithe, elle est compacte et homogène. La façade en briques de terre cuite est plutôt fermée sur l’avant, le long de la rue, et largement ouverte à l’arrière, sur le jardin et la campagne.

The house appears like a monolith, compact and uniform. The brick facade is rather closed on the front along the street, while it is widely opened on the back, looking out on the garden and on the countryside.
