Érigée en 1873, inscrite à l’inventaire supplémentaire des sites et monuments nationaux, l’ancienne gare de Noertzange a été réhabilitée en 2011 en logements étudiants. Un voile en béton vu sépare le quai des studios, servant ainsi de tampon acoustique. Les saillies et retraits donnent de la profondeur aux murs, la lumière naturelle et la disposition des luminaires dessinent des jeux d’ombres géométriques.
Built in 1873 and since registered on the additional list of national sites and monuments, the former Noertzange station was renovated as student accommodation in 2011. An exposed concrete wall separates the platform from the studios, creating something of an acoustic buffer zone. A series of projections and indentations give depth to the walls and natural light and the arrangement of light fittings are used to create geometrical shadow effects.
