The building takes the form of a monolithic solitary square of 68 m footprint, made of concrete and glass. La forte présence symbolique du château d’eau a été conservée tout en l’inscrivant dans un langage architectural contemporain. L’ancienne station de pompage a été vidée et restructurée pour accueillir des expositions photographiques temporaires. The strong impression of the water tower was preserved while at the same time combined with a contemporary architectural language. The former pump station was hollowed out to welcome temporary photo exhibitions.
