L’organisation des appartements sur deux niveaux a l’avantage de rassembler plusieurs chambres au sein d’une unité et de créer à chaque étage du duplex une pièce commune partagée par les étudiants. Chaque logement présente une double orientation côté rue et côté jardin. Les espaces de circu- lation collectifs et le grand patio à l’entrée du rez-de-chaussée favorisent les rencontres et contribuent à une cohabitation harmonieuse au sein du logement. The residence consists of six split-level duplex apartments and two apartments offering a total of 37 bedrooms. The apartments are spread across two levels, the advantages of this being that they can house several bedrooms within the same unit and accommodate a common room on each floor of the duplex to be shared by the students living there. Each dwelling has a dual-aspect view of the street and the gardens. The com- munal traffic areas and the large patio at the entrance to the ground floor are designed to bring people together and encourage harmo- nious cohabitation within the residence.
